Determination of the best culture medium for establishment, propagation and conservation in vitro of citrus rootstocks

In micropropagation and in vitro conservation various nutrient media have been used for regeneration of citrus rootstocks. this respect, the present study was conducted to define, among three culture media, one common use (MS) two developed arboreal species (RMAN WPM), best formulation establishment, propagation vitro. Plantlets from 10 rootstocks grown were micropropagated conserved 18 months, during which they submitted subcultures at six-month intervals. The RMAN WPM formulations provided highest seed germination percentages, but analysis morphogenetic response revealed that composition resulted loss regenerative capacity explants second subculture.
